Fanlistings?
According to TFL, a fanlisting is "a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject.". So, it's just exactly what it says: a list of fans. Maybe you think it isn't a specially useful thing... But isn't something good showing to the world your devotion and love for a determinate character, actor, book or whatever? So, this is what you do when you join a fanlisting. And, of course, you can always have the chance to meet other people who like the same you do... and that's always a great thing :)

Why?
It's not that I've been a long time fan actually, considering the first time I knew about Brendan Gleeson was only about three years ago. But though I haven't even seen half of his movies (yet!), I've seen enough to know he's a very talented actor. He's got my sincere respect and admiration, and that's why I've decided to make this little site about him. Its main purpose is to gather all his fans in one same place, but I'll try to include other interesting things about Brendan as well - because as far as I know, this is the only website about him, or at least I haven't been able to find another one.
Though I've already made a note about it in the main page, I would like to thank Heini for letting me take care of the fanlisting :) She applied for it at TFL nefore I did, but she decided to give it to someone else some time after - and I was the one she chose to adopt it. I could have made a site about Brendan anyway even without the fanlisting, but... to be honest, I doubt I'd ever made it. Fanlistings are, most of the times, the little perfect excuse for us to build little fansites, and thanks to them we end working in things we'd never had considered ;)
Layout
As I've commented in the main page, the current layout has been made using pictures from The Village. Because I love that movie, and because I haven't found many Brendan pictures anyway, so there wasn't a lot to choose from... The first and the third one are photo stills found here and here, and the second one is a screenshot I took myself from one of the movie deleted scenes, included in the DVD.
And in case you were wondering, Heini was the one who came up with the title for the fanlisting. I simply thought it was a good name and I decided to keep it, but the credit is all hers :)
